i am thinking about getting into reloading my own rifle ammunition. i have been reloading trap loads for my shotgun for years and have that down very well. is bullet reloading alot more complicated? can one reloading press load multiple rifle calibers? what is a good brand to of press to begin with, i will be loading for the following calibers: 220 swift 22-250 223 243 257roberts 25-06 38-55 30-06 308 338win mag 340 weatherby mag 375H7H 35 remington 30-30win 338-378weatherby mag 300 win mag 300 rem ultra mag 7mm rem mag 416 rigby and if possible 50bmg
besides a press please tell what other components i will need even if you think i may not need it. thanks
I’m 15,but I reload my own 270 WIN ammo. Its fairly easy. I got a classic lee loader for 270 for like $20. Here is my reloading process. Collect all fired brass. Measure with caliper. If too long, trim, then deburr. I then throw them in my tumbler with corn cob bedding litter you can get in the animal section of a store. To that I add one capful of Nu Finish, a non-wax car polish. I tumble for about two hours. They’re really shiny and clean. After taking them out of the media, I take a primer pocket brush and scrub out the primer pocket. Then my Lee loader comes in. I pound the case
